Giving Nature's children a second chance

Contact us!

If you find an injured, ill or orphaned bird or animal, please call 478-697-5319 to arrange a pick-up. Please be aware that because of the rising cost of gas, I usually meet people halfway at the Friendly Gus/Chevron on Hwy 19S,  just past the I-16 bridge and just off I-16's Exit 54, outside Dublin, for animal pick-ups. To preserve the privacy and safety of the animals in my care, I generally do not allow the public to bring animals directly to LWR.

NOTICE TO METRO-ATLANTA RESIDENTS:

I AM 150 MILES SOUTHEAST OF THE METRO AREA. I WILL BE MORE THAN HAPPY TO TAKE YOUR ORPHANED/INJURED WILDLIFE IF YOU WILL MEET ME AT THE FRIENDLY GUS/CHEVRON STATION JUST OFF I-16E'S EXIT 54 OUTSIDE DUBLIN; OTHERWISE, CALL DNR'S WILDLIFE RESOURCES DIVISION AT 1-800-241-4113 FOR THE NAMES AND NUMBERS OF REHABBERS IN THE METRO AREA.

Questions? Comments? Send us an e-mail at laurenswildliferescue@progressivetel.com, or use the form below!   If you have injured, ill or orphaned wildlife DO NOT e-mail me--CALL ME at 478-697-5319. I'm not always at my computer to respond in a timely manner, but I always have my phone handy.
